First things first: An outage like this won’t happen again in the future.

After an attack on our website, we unfortunately experienced increasing issues with our infrastructure over the past two days.

Due to a series of unfortunate coincidences, what should have been a minor incident dragged on - the service was sporadically available and eventually even completely down for several hours.

The problems have now been resolved to the extent that Müllmail is once again fully operational. We're continuing to work on a more permanent solution and have also switched to a new external monitoring provider to prevent this from happening again.

In the coming weeks, a major backend server update will also be rolled out to give Müllmail.com a performance boost.
